Well, where has the time gone?

Holy smokes has time been flying by! To say the least the last 4, yes 4, months have been crazy busy. About the time of my last post, I was working 10-12 hour days, add in a 2 hour commute, trying to sell a house, and you get a blog that doesn't get updated. But alas, the house is sold, we are all moved (well, for now that is) and life is settling down just a teensie bit. I have a lot of catching up to do, but for now I leave you with this, a fresh spring bud. This photo was taken at Dolliver State Park near Fort Dodge, IA. I shot an engagement session two weekends ago, so look for a sneak peek of those photos over at my other blog. I promise I'll post a photo a little sooner than 4 months next time;)

Who knew that hanging out in the laundry room could actually be fun! I spent 30-45 minutes taking photos of the water heater, the ceiling, and finally the dark clothes that were washing. So here you go!

Saturday was an absolute perfect day. My in-laws just purchased a new home and I was able to hang out with them and help pick out some new furniture. For those of you who know me, I had an absolute BLAST!! I LOVE to decorate, so picking out paint colors, tile, hardwood and furniture, I was pretty much on cloud nine!! So, thank you Cal and Jane for including Nathan and I in all of your fun! (And enjoy your new couch!)

Ok, I have caught the bug, I LOVE this book. I highly recommend reading this. I have just finished it and cannot wait to start the second book!!
